Its Saturday night and all is quiet. Ryan is in bed and I'm balancing my checkbook. What a Saturday night. It really must mean I'm old to be doing this on Saturday. Oh well, don't mind. We had a busy week. Ryan is full of new words each day. He is saying, Duck, broke, poop, pee pee, cookie, swing, side(that is outside, he misses the out part), I guess that's it. He has been hitting more the last few days. Its when he is really tired. Today, we were nose to nose and I told him how things were going to be if he hit me again. He will be spending alot of time in timeout.
Ryan is enjoying his swing set and I'm so glad. He is getting addicted to cookies, which, in his world cookies are fruit bars. So I have him on 100 calorie snacks. I don't want him to have a bunch of sugar. He was up early this morning and I made banana pancakes. They were pretty good.
We went to a family fun day that was put on by Easter Seals. We got to play and made a frame and painted. He also rode a pony and Ill be sending out the pictures. He loved it. He didn't want to stop riding the pony. They likes mints so they let Ryan feed the pony mints. Who has ever heard of ponies eating mints. I guess their breath will smell good. LOL. It was a fun time and he was zonked out in the car. He went to Oma and Opa's. I had the afternoon to myself. Had lunch with a friend and shopped a little. Got groceries and came home and started to watch Broke back Mountain. I'm telling you my mouth was hanging open really fast and I'm scarred for life. I don't know if Ill finish it or not. The actors did a great job. WOW. I want to watch Juno before Monday, maybe during Ryan's nap time.
That's all for now. Take care and Ill try to write again this week or after Race for the Cure next weekend. This is a very busy week for me, leading up to Relay for life fundraiser on the 12Th. I'm a little stressed out getting prepared for that and trying to keep up with work.
Have good rest of the weekend.
Becky
PS: Ryan brought home a sweet mother's day card for me. It was really cute. An earlier gift.
