Well, some of you may know that Ryan has low muscle tone and has had problems with motor skill development. Well, we saw a Neuro-developmental Pediatrician yesterday. He told me that Ryan has severe muscle tone issue's and that it a neurological problem. The next 6 months we will be looking to see if he will gradually develope normal skills of a baby. We will be having genetic testing done just to make sure there are not any abnormal chromosomes and we will be able to rule out a bunch of genetic diseases. He will have alot of testing coming up and we will see the doctor back in 6 months. Ryan see's several different doctors for different issue's. We will see Dr. Akeson in 2 weeks to see what is going to happen with his club feet. We need to progress with correcting this deformity so that as he strengthens his legs the feet wont be an issue. We see Dr. Gootee, a pediatric ENT, to see if there are any abnormalities of his airway and vocal cords. There is a possibility that we will do a bronchoscopy to see if he is still aspirating. He will get his 1 year shots on April 23rd. He has grown so fast. This year flew by. I wanted to get people up to date with what is going on so when I start talking about thing in the future, you will have a clue at what I'm talking about.
NOW TO THE GOOD STUFF:
We will be moving to Princeville at the end of the month. Its a town of 1700 and will hopefully be the place Ryan stays the rest of his childhood. Its seems very quiet. We will live 3 blocks from daycare, 1 block from the grade school, 2 blocks from the high school and 1 1/2 blocks from the pool. We have a good size yard to play in and more room to grow. I am looking forward to getting in and settled and raising Ryan in a decent area with good small town people.
I hope everyone is doing well and hope you all have a Happy Easter
Enjoy your time with each other as the moments are gone before we know it.
I suppose I better tell you that I thought it easier to create this blog so everyone is able to see Ryan accomplishments. As I know there will be many. He has been the best blessing in my life and I thank God everyday for him. He is such a special, sweet little boy.
I will write again soon.
Love to you all,
Becky and Ryan

Precious little Ryan has had so many health problems since his birth, but fortunately, he has a mother who is a fabulous mother. I don't think there is anyone who could take any better care of him or love him more. Even with his difficulties, Ryan has been nothing but a ray of sunshine to all he encounters. He is so incredibly sweet I just want to take a bite out of him! hahaha One of the amazing things about Ryan's birth is it seems as though he has brought Becky and Kathy closer together which is truly a blessing. He has even managed to capture Pete's heart! I call Ryan "the uniter" as he has united his mother with his grandmother and grandfather. He is truly a special little boy. Love, Nancy
He is such a precious little guy that seems to be in such good spirits, even all he has been through with his first year of life!! He has been such a trooper! Becky...you are a great mom!! I will definitely say a prayer for you guys as you go about your adventure called life! I was a single mom for many years, and it is FAR from easy, but you dont know any other way, so it comes as a natural for you! You are very strong as a Mother! Well, I will quit babbling, just wanted to let you know I love the blog. Thanks for inviting me to be a part of his little life!!! He is very special to all of us here in D pod world!
