Going to the Museum with neice, nephews and sister-in-law. Ryan isnt going because he is to little. Have a haircut tonight and then we are cooking out. Ryan worked up a sweat last night, raking mulch. He was a big helper. Im so glad he is a worker. He's a very hard worker. We havent been doing a whole lot. Ryan did have a speech evaluation and is behind. So, he will start speech once a week. It could take up to 3 months before it starts. He is delayed in Gross Motor but that was known and he will always be delayed in Gross Motor due to low muscle tone. He is singing alot lately and we are working on learing "Big" and "Small". He pretty much knows it but we work on it for an entire week. Next week I think I will teach the word "I". He is just starting to use it and I want him to get the full understanding. Then we are working on his colors again. He does ok, but I want him to know them really well. ABC's are coming along and number are pretty good. Someone other than me probably wouldnt understand what he was saying. Ryan is really enjoying the movie Alvin and the Chipmunks. I have been very busy at work and the weeks have gone fast. I was reading our town paper last night and realized that Ryan will start Pre-School in one year. Stressed me out. I cant even imagine it. We will be working on alot of goals over the next year. I dont want him to be behind when starting school as he will always be behind in gross motor skills. Our babysitter is leaving for college in a week. She is going to Massage school in Moline. We will definately miss her. Ryan had a ball at her parents house the other night. They have goats, ducks, chickens, dogs, and cats. He loved it. He played very hard. In about a week we have a playdate with a bunch of girls from work. We all have kids in the same age range. I believe Ryan is the oldest. It will be a good time. My friend, Pamela, is pregnant again. She says this is it. Well, not much else. Have a nice weekend. Ill post after the Grossology exhibit at the museum. Take care.
